Cool Glide Excel Laser System

> Cool Glide Excel Laser System
> Cool Glide Laser Hair Removal System
> Cool Glide Rejuvenation System

The Cool Glide Excel Laser System is a multi-purpose laser system designed to treat an array of vascular lesions from spider veins (telangiectasia) to large reticular veins. It is also used for the permanent reduction of unwanted hair and non-ablative skin rejuvenation. With its unique design and longer wavelength, it is one of the few lasers on the market that can treat men and women of all skin tones safely and effectively.

What areas can be treated with Cool Glide Excel?

Cool Glide Excel can remove unsightly veins from all parts of the body. It can even treat sensitive areas like the face and behind the knees.

What are Cool Glide Excel treatments like?

Cool Glide Excel works by delivering pulses of light energy to its targeted vessels, causing the blood in the vein to coagulate, eventually destroying it. Because it treats the targeted vessels, it leaves the surrounding tissue intact. During the treatment some patients may experience a slight pinching or stinging sensation. No anesthesia or pain medication is required, although there is an option to use topical anesthesia. The treatment only takes several minutes depending on the number of vessels to be treated along with their location.

What happens after the treatment?

Following the treatment, some redness or bruising may occur. When larger veins are treated a tan or brownish pigment may persist for a few weeks or months following treatment.

How many treatments are needed?

Often, patients find that one treatment is sufficient for their vein removal needs. However, for optimal results, multiple treatments may be necessary. The number of treatments depends on the number of vessels being treated, the color and size of those vessels and the response rate of patient. On the average, 3 sessions are needed and these are spaced 4 – 6 weeks apart.

What are the possible side effects?

Those commonly noticed are slight reddening and local swelling of the skin. These effects typically last within 24 hours. Some patients may experience bruising and in rare instances blistering may occur.

How long do the results last?

Most patients find that the majority of the treated veins have shown significant improvement within two to six weeks of treatment. T he final results may not be apparent for several months. Over time, it is possible for new veins to appear but the veins that have been previously treated are gone for good.

COOL GLIDE LASER HAIR REMOVAL SYSTEMS

Unwanted facial and body hair are now things of the past, thanks to the Cool Glide and Cool Glide Excel systems. Cleared for permanent hair reduction, the Cool Glide Lasers can treat men and women of all skin tones safely and effectively. Plus, these lasers can be used on fine, dark and course hair. A cooled hand piece increases patient comfort and minimizes the adverse skin reaction commonly seen with other lasers. Moreover, a cooling gel is applied during treatment.

No more painful waxing, electrolysis or razors!

How do Cool Glide Lasers compare with other hair removal methods?

Shaving, waxing and depilatory creams are all temporary methods which must be repeated on a regular basis. The Cool Glide Lasers offer longer lasting results for your hair removal needs.

How do Cool Glide Lasers compare to Electrolysis?

Electrolysis is a tedious, invasive and painful process that involves inserting a needle into each individual hair follicle, and delivering an electrical charge to them one at a time. It often requires years of treatment at a regular basis. By delivering light energy to hundreds of hair follicles at a time the Cool Glide Lasers effectively treat areas in just minutes. Moreover, there is a high risk of scarring with electrolysis which is not so with the Cool Glide treatment.

What areas can be treated with the Cool Glide Lasers?

Cool Glide Lasers can remove hair from all parts of the body including the face, legs, arms, underarms and back. They can also treat sensitive areas like chest, nipples and bikini line.

What do Cool Glide Laser treatments feel like?

As the name implies, the Cool Glide hand piece cools and soothes as it glides along your skin. When the pulse of light is delivered, some patients experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation. Local anesthetic cream is normally not indicated and a slight tingling sensation can be experienced after treatment.

What happens after the treatment?

Immediately following your treatment the area may appear a bit red and swollen. Within the next 3 – 7 days you may notice a re-growth of hair. Most of these hairs are being shed as a result of your treatment and are not re-growing. In between treatments you cannot wax or pluck your hair, but it is permissible to shave.

How many treatments are needed?

Most areas require 5 – 8 treatments, but may vary depending on various factors such as your hair’s thickness, the area treated, and your hair’s growth cycle. Treatment sessions are spaced 4 – 6 weeks apart.

What are the possible side effects?

Slight reddening and local swelling of the skin similar to sunburn may occur in some patients. These effects typically last for several hours or less. In rare instances blistering may occur. Consult with your medical professional for complete information on the benefits and risks of treatment.

COOL GLIDE REJUVENATION SYSTEM

This is an innovative, technologically-advanced way to promote vibrant and healthy looking skin in both men and women. It is a non-ablative procedure that reduces visible facial vessels as well as diffuse redness by gently warming the upper dermis improving the appearance of your skin.

What does Cool Glide Rejuvenation do?

The Cool Glide Rejuvenation procedure utilizes laser technology that can safely, discretely and effectively treat small targets like fine undesirable facial vessels that cause diffuse redness. Unlike many other treatment methods, it is a comfortable non-ablative form of skin therapy. This laser has a long wavelength that penetrates into the deeper lasers of the skin to stimulate lifting and tightening. Treatment can be performed in a relaxed, comfortable manner without the use of anesthesia, gel or cream.

What areas can be treated?

The most common areas treated are the face and neck.

What can I expect before the treatment?

With Cool Glide Rejuvenation no complicated pre-treatment rituals are required. Prior to the actual treatment you will be asked to remove your make-up or moisturizers and in some cases you may be asked to shave the area to be treated so as not to interfere with the laser treatment.

How many treatments do I need?

Treatment results are often quite subtle. On the average, you may require 4 to 6 treatments, performed once a month, for maximized results. Quarterly maintenance may be done.

Is the treatment painful?

Cool Glide Rejuvenation treatments are not painful. In fact, the treatment is comfortable, non-ablative, and non-invasive. Unlike other laser treatments it does not wound the skin’s surface, therefore virtually eliminating the need for complicated post treatment care. The treatment does not require any anesthetics. The treatment may feel a little warm.

What results to expect after the treatment?

Immediately after the treatment you will experience some minor redness that typically lasts only a few hours. Improvement in skin condition is noted after each treatment.

What are the possible side effects?

There are no known side effects with this treatment.
