The Software Development Officer is responsible to develop software applications or systems.
They write code, perform coding reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best
practices. The role should possess advanced skills, knowledge, and expertise in various programming languages, frameworks, and software development methodologies. This includes data gathering, building, testing and implementing functional codes according to business requirements.
The role involves working closely with the systems and software development group (SSDG) and
other project managers and stakeholders to analyze requirements, design software systems, write code, and ensure the successful delivery of software projects.
- Education : Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience : At least 2 years of experience in a related function is required.
- Demonstrate leadership abilities and can manage a group of programmers. Strong project management skills with effective results focus within and information systems environment. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Self-motivated with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities. Strong effective communicator and a team player. Technical experience with systems, networking, databases, Web development, Mobile Application development, ERP Systems and user support.
