Belo Beautiful Stories: Raheel Bhyria’s Path to Clear Skin

Five years ago, a young Raheel Bhyria was chasing his basketball dreams in the Philippines until a severe knee injury involving his ACL, MCL, and PCL ligaments paused his athletic career. This detour unexpectedly led Raheel to the world of showbiz, but stress soon became a constant companion. While Raheel had oily skin and acne growing up, it was no help that the stress was taking its toll on his skin. As a result, it gave him more breakouts. It was inevitable: Torn ligaments, a drastic career shift, uncertainty about his future, and the pressures of a pandemic? It was a lot of Raheel to take in.

“I was starting in showbiz when I began my Belo journey in [early] 2020, ” Raheel recalls in Filipino.. “Before I came here, I had poor confidence. I saw other artistas that had fresh, clean faces. I could not help but compare.”

Raheel happily shared that seeking treatment at Belo significantly improved his acne.

“My confidence also improved and I didn’t have to feel the need to wear a face mask, because I was ashamed of my pimples. My mental health also improved because of that.”

A Life Rebound

Being in show business full time meant that Raheel was in front of the camera a lot, from tv shows to movies. Raheel would come and visit the clinic to treat his acne on his non-taping days.
