NCTF vs. Jalupro – what’s the difference?

By Ysabel Vitangcol on July 1, 2024

When it comes to treatments in restoring hydration in the eye area, New Cellular Treatment Factor (NCTF®) and Jalupro immediately come to mind. Find out what procedure suits you best!

What is Jalupro?

Jalupro® is a biorevitalizing injectable solution designed to improve skin texture, hydration, and elasticity. It is composed of amino acids (glycine, L-proline, L-lysine, and L-leucine) and hyaluronic acid. These components work synergistically to promote collagen synthesis, repair damaged tissues, and provide deep hydration.

Key Features of Jalupro:

  1. Amino Acid Complex: The amino acids in Jalupro are essential building blocks for collagen production. By supplying these precursors, Jalupro stimulates the natural production of collagen in the skin, leading to improved firmness and elasticity.
  2. Hyaluronic Acid: Known for its hydrating properties, hyaluronic acid retains moisture in the skin, providing a plumping effect and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  3. Application: Jalupro is typically administered through a series of injections into the dermis. The treatment can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, and hands.
  4. Indications: Jalupro is suitable for individuals with dull, dehydrated skin, fine lines, and early signs of aging. It is also used to enhance the effects of other aesthetic treatments, such as microneedling and laser therapy.

What is New Cellular Treatment Factor (NCTF®)?

Formerly called BioNutriGlow, New Cellular Treatment Factor (NCTF®) is a comprehensive anti-aging and skin rejuvenation solution. It is a mesotherapy product containing a unique blend of 59 active ingredients, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, coenzymes, antioxidants, and hyaluronic acid. NCTF® aims to revitalize the skin, improve its texture, and restore a youthful glow.

Key Features of NCTF®:

  1. Multifaceted Composition: NCTF® stands out due to its extensive array of active ingredients. The combination of vitamins (A, B, C, E), minerals, and coenzymes supports various cellular functions and promotes skin regeneration.
  2. Hyaluronic Acid: Like Jalupro, NCTF® contains hyaluronic acid to enhance skin hydration and volume.
  3. Application: NCTF® is administered via mesotherapy, which involves multiple micro-injections into the superficial dermis. This technique ensures the active ingredients are evenly distributed across the treated area.
  4. Indications: NCTF® is suitable for addressing a broad spectrum of skin concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and loss of firmness. It is also effective in treating more advanced signs of aging and can be used on various body areas.

What is the difference between Jalupro® and NCTF®?

“NCTF is a biorevitalizer composed of 59 vitamins and minerals with glutathione to improve the quality of the skin,” says Dr. Rodnie Valerio, Associate Physician of Belo BGC. “Meanwhile, Jalupro is an amino acid replacement therapy that increases collagen production and makes the skin denser.”

Jalupro also contains hyaluronic acid, a known ingredient best for hydration and treating skin laxity, while NCTF also includes the likes of antioxidants and active ingredients.

NCTF and Jalupro can be done 3-6 times every 2 weeks, individually.
