10 Unique Exercises You Should Try Post-360° Liposuction
July 17, 2023
Does this scenario sound familiar? At one point in your fitness journey, you realized that despite your hard work at the gym and your mindful eating habits, there are some pesky bits of fat that just won’t budge. Now you’re doing preliminary research on liposuction and how to prepare for it. Most of all, you’ve got a lot of questions about what you can do after the procedure to maintain those results. When can you start working out again? Is it even safe to? First-timers are welcome here, because we’re answering all your lipo concerns!
Belo Liposuction (like 360° Liposuction) is done under twilight sedation and only lasts for two to four hours, depending on the area being treated (large areas like the back and stomach are likely to take longer). Because Belo uses a thinner cannula for suctioning compared to other clinics, recovery is generally faster due to less trauma on the affected area. Our patients can resume their regular activities as early as 2-3 days after the procedure.
You’ll be asked to wear compression garments for about one to two weeks to help the recovery process. You’ll see more changes after a month and a half (six weeks) as your skin continues to tighten. Then, best results can be seen in three to four months!

Yes, yes, and YES! Liposuction permanently removes fat cells from the targeted area. So if you’ve got a belly that just won’t go away despite your killer workout routine and great diet, lipo is definitely a great solution. And after a few months when you see your final results, trust us—you’ll know it was worth it.
As for safety concerns, know that you are in the best hands at Belo Medical Group. We uphold only the highest standards of safety and skills. Keep in mind that Belo Medical Group is the first and only ambulatory clinic in the country to have been given international accreditation by the National Accreditation Board of Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH). Our patients’ safety has always been our highest priority. You can observe this in the way we’ve prepared our clinics for you in the time of COVID-19 (see our Patient Safety Guidelines here, and see our video of The New Normal at Belo here).
There is no magic treatment for permanent and guaranteed fat loss without the need for hard work and dedication. Unfortunately, fat can return to your treated areas if you don’t watch your diet carefully or work out. You must maintain your post-lipo weight in order to enjoy your results for years and years to come!

That said, it is safe for you to work out again after about six weeks of recovery. If you feel strong enough after three weeks, you can do some light walking. Don’t rush it! Speak with your Belo MD about your workout regimen so you can check when the right time is to re-integrate certain types of workouts to your routine. We are always happy to help you.
