Founder, Chairwoman of the Board and Chief Medical Advisor of Belo Medical Group Dr. Vicki Belo presented a study that focused on a novel modality treatment in treating melasma using Laser, Neurocosmetics and Exosomes – of which are available in Belo clinics.
For patients, this means that treatment options for one of the most stubborn skin concerns continue to evolve, bringing safer and more effective solutions within reach.

Two representatives of Belo Medical Group took the stage at the ADVA Symposium, sharing how advanced laser technologies are helping improve patient outcomes.
BMG Deputy Medical Director Dr. Jacqueline Luna presented an innovative approach to scar treatment that combines ablative CO₂ laser therapy with vascular lasers. By addressing both scar tissue and abnormal blood vessels, the treatment aims to promote better healing, smoother-looking skin, and improved results for patients with challenging scars.
On the other hand, Belo NEXA Associate Physician Dr. Rodnie Valerio highlighted the benefits of ADVATx, the world’s only solid-state laser designed for both acne management and skin rejuvenation.
Dr. Valerio also spoke at the Asterasys Symposium, where he discussed Liftera A2, a non-surgical lifting treatment powered by ultrasound technology.

Meanwhile, Senior Managing Physician for Belo Greenhills and Medical Lead for Research and Medical Innovation Dr. Guada Santos-Capiz presented a multimodal hand rejuvenation protocol that combined microcoring cold fiber laser technology, rose-derived exosomes, and stabilized hybrid cooperative complex hyaluronic acid. The treatment resulted in improved skin quality, enhanced hand appearance, and high patient satisfaction.
