Sometimes, we’re so used to calling our faves by their screen names—the usernames in their YouTube channels, the name news anchors refer to them as, you know the drill—that we forget some of them use screen names. Some are mild iterations of their real names, while others are just completely unexpected! Here are some of your favorite Belo Babies’ real names.
This is an easy one, since it’s the name she uses as her Instagram name. Her Instagram username, “sueannadoodles,” is a play on her real surname.
Maymay simply goes by her nickname as her screen name. But if you’ve seen the tearjerker Hello, Love, Goodbye, Maymay’s character is actually named Marydale, too!
That threw you in for a loop, didn’t it? Alden uses his first name as his last name. According to PEP.ph, Alden’s father is half-American, which explains the surname.
Ivana’s dad is Moroccan, which explains her Arabic name.
Like Maymay, Liza uses her nickname as her screen name, but you’ll often find family and close friends referring to her as Hope.
Gabbi changed her last name when she got into showbiz, presumably because her real surname is heavily associated with the founding family of her network’s rival (they’re not related, though!).
We love an iconic single name. Karylle chose to drop her last name when she began to make a name for herself as a singer. Karylle is a pretty unique name to be known by on its own!
Rhian chose her middle name to be her screen surname. Rhian’s father, Gareth Howell, is British.
