  • How does Picosure work?
Picosure works by delivering ultra-short pulses of laser energy to the skin, breaking down pigment particles and stimulating collagen production. This process helps to clear pigmentation, smooth out skin texture, and rejuvenate the skin.
  • What is the difference between Picosure and Picosure Pro?
Picosure Pro uses even shorter picosecond pulses, which can lead to faster and more efficient fragmentation of pigment particles. This means patients can often see visible results in fewer sessions, reducing the overall treatment time.
  • What skin procedures can Picosure target?
Picosure can treat a variety of skin conditions including hyperpigmentation, melasma, acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage and unwanted tattoos!
  • Since this is a laser treatment, is Picosure painful?
There may be slight discomfort during the treatment, often described as a sensation similar to a rubber band snapping against the skin. Topical anesthesia is available to minimize any discomfort if needed.
  • How soon can I see results, and how many sessions are needed?
Results can vary depending on the specific skin concern being treated. Some patients may see improvements after just one session, while others might require multiple sessions. Each session typically lasts about 10-20 minutes, depending on the area being treated and the condition being addressed.
