ZO Skincare 2024 Holiday Guide: The Gift of Radiant Skin
Quarantine, for many of us, is a chance to discover new things or rekindle old hobbies. Some of us are baking banana bread or brewing specialty coffee for the first time; others are rediscovering their love for Netflix medical dramas (sigh, McDreamy) and balcony gardening. But for Dr. Vicki Belo, she did all of that and everything in between! From the months of March to August, she has (and continues) to fill her days with activities that bring her joy. Here are 10 of the things she’s done while under quarantine:
1. She donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and free meals for medical frontliners.
When it became clear that COVID-19 was becoming a serious situation, Dr. Belo and the Belo Medical Group was the first aesthetic clinic in the country to immediately announce the closure of our clinics. We made our announcement on March 13, a full day before the government even announced the implementation of ECQ. But more than protecting her staff and patients, Dr. Belo wanted to extend a helping hand towards medical frontliners. Not only did she immediately request that all of Belo Medical Group’s PPE be donated to hospitals, she also partnered with various organizations to donate 1,000 meals to 20 different hospitals until the end of the quarantine period. Her youngest daughter, Scarlet Snow Belo, was always involved in her philanthropic activities: they went on to create homemade face shields and pack chocolate and candy bars for medical frontliners, too! Dr. Belo has always lived by her “people before profit” philosophy, and she set a great example for other business owners—and her daughter—in the early days of the quarantine period.
2. She continued to practice aesthetic medicine at home…with special members of her family!
Dr. Belo’s generosity extends to her family, including her beloved household helpers, so she decided to start an IGTV series titled #BelofyTheKasambahay last April. In the safety of her home, she diagnosed three of her kasambahay’s skincare concerns, and gave them the products and treatments they needed to get Belofied!
You can search the hashtag on Instagram to view all three episodes. Rose, Jovy, and Mitch were very happy with their results!
3. She celebrated Mother’s Day at home.
Mother’s Day felt a little different this year, but in the end, all that matters is that you’re safe and together with your family. Dr. Belo received gifts from her husband, Dr. Hayden Kho, as well as daughters Cristalle Belo-Pitt and Scarlet Snow Belo.
4. She joined forces with international colleagues to publish a COVID-19 consensus.
Together with doctors from nine countries, Dr. Belo co-published a COVID-19 consensus last May. This paper, which was published in the journal Dermatologic Therapy, includes detailed guidelines for the safe reopening of aesthetic clinics all over the world. You can read the paper in full right here.
5. She joined TikTok for the first time!
TikTok fever was bound to come for Dr. Belo, who loves engaging with her followers on social media. One of her first-ever TikToks was a #PassTheSerum challenge with her fellow Belo doctors, featuring the ultra-effective ZO® Firming Serum. (By the way, you can shop that here!)

6. She decided to try more recipes.
Lots of food crazes have kept us happy throughout quarantine: dalgona coffee, sushi bake, ube cheese pandesal, and more. But there’s nothing like a home-cooked treat! Now that she’s spending more time at home, Dr. Belo has decided to spend more time in the kitchen with Scarlet Snow. She’s begun to experiment with gourmet popcorn, animal cookies, and more!
7. She got her DIY on for Father’s Day.

Like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day had to be spent at home, too. So last June 21, Dr. Belo and Scarlet surprised Dr. Hayden Kho with a special project: matching tie-dye T-shirts! During these difficult and saddening times, simple surprises can mean a lot.
8. She planted trees in Amanpulo with a very happy couple.
Last month, when GCQ was declared in Metro Manila, the Belo Family was able to take a quick trip to Amanpulo, Palawan. They were there to give back to the environment by planting coconut trees that will bear fruit in the coming years. And they were joined by none other than newlyweds Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli! They, too, planted their own coconut trees.
9. She celebrated the birth of her newest granddaughter, Siena Victoria Pitt.
When Cristalle Belo and husband Justin Pitt welcomed a baby girl almost 5 months ago, Dr. Belo was ecstatic, even though she couldn’t personally be at the hospital when Cristalle gave birth (due to quarantine restrictions). “She’s so responsive and fun. Those Asian-shaped eyes with grey color are absolutely amazing,” she gushed in an Instagram post. This just proves that even during a global pandemic, you can still have pockets of love and joy.
10. She celebrated Belo Medical Group’s 30th anniversary!
Dr. Belo decided to celebrate Belo’s 30th anniversary with the biggest sale ever—our 8.8 sale last August 8! We offered huge 30% discounts on our most requested treatments, plus some great 3+1 and 4+2 deals. And we also treated nine very lucky people to their dream Belo treatments (see the list of winners here). All the celebrations happened online at The Belo Shop and on our social media accounts, so everyone could stay safe! It may not have been a huge in-person celebration, but she wanted to make her patients happy nonetheless. And it was a huge success!
That makes ten! Follow Dr. Vicki Belo on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok to see her other quarantine shenanigans!
