What’s the difference between a facial and a peel?

While both facials and peels aim to improve the skin’s appearance, they differ significantly in their approach and results!

Meanwhile, a peel involves the application of chemical solutions to exfoliate the skin more deeply than a facial. Peels target specific skin issues. These include acne, pigmentation, fine lines, and texture irregularities. What peels do, is it removes the outer layers of skin, promoting new skin growth. They are more intensive treatments that can offer significant improvements in skin condition. Peels are best for addressing specific skin concerns and achieving longer-lasting results. Depending on the peel’s strength, they can be done every few weeks to a few months.
