Chin Fillers at Belo: What To Expect

By Ysabel Vitangcol on October 20, 2020

As someone in her mid-30s, I’m always on the lookout for fast and easy anti-aging treatments that don’t require me to lay on an operating table. I first heard about Belo Chin Fillers when I saw Sue Ramirez‘ chin fillers on the @belobeauty Instagram account last year. Her face changed—real quick. It became more elongated, you’d think she just lost weight.

My goal was to rest my skin from makeup and for me to look natural and effortless, especially when facing different clients during Zoom calls. I wanted to improve the contour and shape of my face, because it’s a bit squarish, making my chin look flat. Even though I work out regularly and I’ve lost weight this year, the shape of my face remains unchanged. I just wanted to add volume to specific areas without having to go under the knife. I went to my Belo MD at the Greenhills clinic, Dr. Aron Go, and he prepped me with the basics. “The great thing about fillers is the results are instant,” he explained. “So the moment you walk out of the clinic, you’re already able to appreciate and enjoy the results. In terms of the expected possible downtime, as with any injectable treatment, fillers can result [in] a bit of bruising and a bit of swelling. But it’s actually something that can naturally go away in the next few days.”

After just 10 minutes of mild discomfort, it was all over! What helped my face slim down even further was a previous Belo Botox Masseter session, which relaxed my chewing muscles and narrowed my face shape even more. Check it out:

I noticed the quick results right away, making me feel more confident to show my face during Zoom calls. A lot of people didn’t notice it—which was my goal. I just want subtle changes, and Belo made it happen.

The best thing about chin fillers is that they’re not permanent, so it’s perfect for people with commitment issues. But I really liked the results the first time I did it last year, so I started adding it to my annual beauty plan or just whenever I feel like doing it again.

As an artist, I’m very particular with aesthetics. Same goes with the Belo doctors—they’re well-versed with proportions, so they gave me just the right amount of filler to improve my overall look, without going overboard. That’s what I love about coming to Belo: they don’t give you more units of filler just to make a quick buck; they really care about your specific beauty goals and will only give you what you truly need to achieve them.
