ICYMI: Facebook Live with Dr. Belo, Doc Hayden, and Belle Daza

By Ysabel Vitangcol on July 16, 2020

Last night, Dr. Vicki Belo and Dr. Hayden Kho took time out to catch up with the muse of our Brighter Days Ahead campaign, Isabelle Daza (who’s hunkering down in Hong Kong with husband Adrien Semblat and son Balthazar). Through the magic of Facebook Live, the trio were able to reach out to more than 30,000 viewers about beauty, love, and everything in between. Here are the highlights if you missed them.

1. Belle Daza’s Skin Genius results were so noticeable that she was stopped by strangers in Switzerland to ask what she had done.

At the direction of Dr. Belo, we have always chosen our endorsers carefully—we handpick those who are true believers of the treatment they eventually become the face of. Dr. Belo and Doc Hayden selected Belle Daza for her intellect, beauty, and outspokenness—a true embodiment of the phrase “Belo Skin Genius.” Belle tried the treatment in December 2019 before leaving for France to meet with her in-laws. “After the flight, I came back, and my in-laws were like, ‘Wow, you don’t look tired at all from the flight!’ Akala ko they were complimenting me. And then we went to Switzerland, and two people in a store asked me what I used on my skin,” Belle shared. “I said, ‘Actually, I just did this treatment. It’s in the Philippines. It’s called Belo Skin Genius. And that’s when I texted Hayden, and I said, ‘I think there’s something magical about this…because two people in Switzerland just stopped to ask me about my skin!’”

Belle was so excited about her results that she immediately recommended Skin Genius to her friends, who were so happy to maintain slim faces despite their quarantine weight gain. “You know me, I’m very upfront, and if I don’t believe in something, I wouldn’t recommend it, especially [to] friends,” Belle said. “What I love about it is it’s very subtle. Hindi parang you tried so hard. You look like you’re hydrated.”

2. Skin Genius can be done on your body, too, and it’s for adults of all ages!

We rave about how well Skin Genius sculpts the face, but did you know it does wonders for tightening up the body as well? Dr. Belo has actually done Skin Genius on her butt, and she loves the instant lift it provided. “It works amazing for tightening the skin on the tummy, tightening the butt area, especially when there’s a little fold,” explained Dr. Belo. “Skin Genius is really good off-face as well, like for areas like the arms.”

Dr. Belo also tells the story of a 66-year-old patient who raved about her results (she had the procedure done two days before ECQ began). “I’ve done patients up to the age of 74, and they look amazing, so you know, there’s really no age limit to this. And if you’re the kind of person who doesn’t want any pain, this is the way to go.”

3. The beauty doctors and Belle touched on the true meaning of beauty (and how it’s much more than skin deep).

Dr. Belo and Doc Hayden have always been open about their faith, and this reflects in the way they navigate their careers. “The reason why we long for beauty, that rousing sensation when we experience beauty, is because beauty reminds us of what we have lost,” Dr. Hayden explains, touching on his Christian beliefs. “We were created beautiful in the beginning…and we lost something. And now we’re at this point. But everytime we see beauty, we remember the perfection that we lost, but we also look forward to the perfection that we will receive again, after this life.” He further explains that the reason we yearn for beauty is because, ultimately, we yearn for God.

Belle connects this to her personal experiences in the spotlight. “Sometimes, people will see a Belo ad and say, ‘That’s so superficial. Why are you endorsing something that asks you to change how you look?’ But that’s not what we’re saying here. Dr. Belo started because people didn’t see her for who she is,” added Belle. The goal of Belo Medical Group, after all, is to empower women and men to be the most confident and happy they can be, by making them feel good about themselves.

“In this world, the norm is to do what is wrong. To see someone doing what is right is beautiful,” added Dr. Hayden later on in the conversation.

4. You can BIY (Belo-It-Yourself) at home with a simple sheet mask.

During their Live session, Doc Hayden demonstrated the use of the Fillmed Hyaluronic Youth Mask, which is available for purchase at the Belo Shop. Because hyaluronic acid absorbs 1000 times its weight in water, it’s fantastic for hydration. Its soothing and restorative properties reduces the appearance of dehydration, erases wrinkles, and plumps the skin. Aloe Vera nourishes the skin and restores comfort. Clinical studies have shown that it adds 27% hydration in 15 minutes, and reduces wrinkle volume by -19% and wrinkle depth by 16% after only 8 applications. It’s the best way to get the Belo experience for less, and safely at home.

5. The trio played a game of Never Have I Ever, complete with wine.

And now for the juiciest part of their FB Live convo—the game of “Never Have I Ever”! The three brought out their wine glasses and drank to topics like sushi bake, picking pimples, getting wasted at parties, and so much more! We don’t want to spoil the watching experience for you, so here’s the full FB Live video (start at 1:01:00 to watch the game)!

We hope you enjoyed our Live session! Stay tuned for announcements on our next ones in the future.
